Anwered Prayers

Prayer must be followed by a strong and unwavering belief that God has answered and that His response will manifest in due time. The Bible teaches that when we pray, we must do so with faith and confidence in God’s response: “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”Matthew 21:22 (KJV).

At the same time, believers must surrender their requests to the perfect will of God, trusting that His wisdom is greater than our own. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”1 John 5:14–15 (KJV).

Jesus Himself demonstrated this surrender in prayer: “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”— Luke 22:42 (KJV). As believers, we do not stand on what we see or feel, but on the truth and certainty of what the Word of God declares. The Scriptures remind us of this principle of faith: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV).

Faith itself is rooted in trusting what God has promised even before it is seen: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”— Hebrews 11:1 (KJV). And our faith grows as we continually hear and believe the Word of God: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”— Romans 10:17 (KJV).

God made plans for us before even one day came to pass. “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”Psalm 139:16 (KJV).

Therefore, no matter what may be happening in your life, know that if it is not part of God’s original plan, He is still able to work it together for your good. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”— Romans 8:28 (KJV).

The pain or suffering you may be experiencing may not have been part of God’s original design, but if you are going through it, God is able to use that experience to bless you and bring about something greater. “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”— Genesis 50:20 (KJV).

God’s plans for His people are ultimately good, and His purposes are always greater than the circumstances we face. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”— Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV).

Based on this knowledge; after you have made your petitions before God, you then stand in faith and pray as below, the more you prayer like this the more your confidence and faith in God grows.
